The key to Hatteras Yacht’s flawless construction lies in their bulletproof techniques. All Hatteras hull bottoms are
constructed with solid fiberglass and they use PVC non-absorbent foam core in the hull sides and superstructure to deliver a high strength-to-weight ratio.
Their four-part bonding process includes adhesive caulking, fiberglass bonding, monel screws every 3 inches and a stainless-steel rub rail. For bulkheads
and decks, Hatteras uses a state-of-the-art fiberglass vacuum-bagging technique that provides structural and thermal advantages.
Unparalleled performance is achieved by their series of convex and modified-V hulls that deliver a sharp entry and a soft, stable ride. Hatteras also
uses custom built “nibral” propellers that are dynamically balanced to effectively match the boat's weight, speed, horsepower and reduction gear.
